Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 : Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is top and highest platform for the Indian domestic players to showcase their talent in the most popular format of the t20 game. In Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Series, the teams of different states are also being announced. Many veteran players will also participate in this group tournament. Indian domestic cricket is going to debut for the first time in the last one year and the players will also be excited.

While the players are excited for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the spectators are waiting to see fours and sixes in this T20 tournament. With the playing of veterans, there is an increased desire to see it in the audience. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which starts on January 10, has also ensured compliance with the entire safety norms. There will total 102 T20s matches will be played from 10th January to 31st January.

Like the IPL, spectators will be banned in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Audiences will not be able to come to the stadium to watch the match. Many ace players like Suresh Raina, Sanju Samson, Robin Uthappa will be seen showcasing their skills.

The knockouts matches will be played in Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium, Apart from Motera Stadium Mumbai ,Bengaluru, Vadodara, Kolkata, Indore and Chennai will also host the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches. The six biosecure hubs for group matches will see 38 teams compete against each other.

There will be Five Elite groups and one Plate group that will comprise these 38 teams. The Defending champions Karnataka is in Elite group A alongside Uttar Pradesh and Railways.

All teams will have to undergo 3 rounds of Covid-19 tests in their respective host cities. The tests will be conducted on 2nd, 4th and 6th January respectively. The teams will start their training only after all tests return negative. Before the knockouts, there will be two more rounds of testing on January 20th and 22nd.

Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Final Date

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament starts on January 10. While the quarter-finals will be played on January 26 and 27, the semi-finals and the final will be held on January 29 and January 31 respectively.

BCCI holds the rights to broadcast the matches live with Star Sports. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy bouts will be telecast live on Star Sports Network channels. Users who use the Star Sports app for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will also be beneficial as Mukabal will be able to be seen there as well.

The BCCI has already issued strict rules in view of the corona virus situation. The board has sent a letter of rules to the state associations. A provision has been made to take strict action against players and staff members who violate these rules. A rule has also been made not to use saliva on the ball, including bio bubble and quarantine. The board has released a list of rules keeping in mind all the things
