India vs Australia 3rd Test Updates
David Warner and Will Pucovski return to the Australian team for the third Test of the four-Test Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia, with the addition of Joe Burns being released. Joe Burns scored 8, not out 51, 0 and 4 runs in the first two Tests.
David Warner to play in Third Test
Warner missed the first two Tests due to groin injury and is now ready to return to the third Test. The third Test match is to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 7 January.

Warner and Pucovski to open for Australia
It is believed that Warner and Pucovski will open the innings for Australia in the third Test match of the series played at Sydney Cricket Ground.
National selector Trevor Hohns said, ‘David Warner, Will Pucovski and Sean Abbott will join the team tomorrow evening to prepare for the Sydney Test in Melbourne.
David’s recovery has been rapid and he will be given a full chance to play the Sydney Test. Sean Abbott has completely recovered from the injury and will be available for selection.
Joe Burn Dropped for final two Tests
Burns scored 8, 51*, 0 and 4 in the opening two matches of the series. After his unbeaten half-century in Adelaide, he was caught behind off Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings and then off Umesh Yadav in the second in Melbourne.
Joe Burns has been released from the team and can join his team Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League. The Australian team will train in Melbourne on 2 and 3 January and then leave for Sydney on 4 January.
